We recently hosted a wine tasting featuring solely Italian wines. Being much more familiar with French and German wine, we worried that we would be unprepared to even begin rating Italian wines. Once we opened the TastingMaster tutorial, however, our fears were allayed. We learned how to read an Italian wine label, as well as some useful tips on tasting and hosting the event. Thanks to TastingMaster we now understand much more about Italian wine regions, grapes, and producers…and oh…they taste great too!

I am impressed with the colorful report I received after a wine tasting where we used this software. Normally, we just walk away from wine tastings without any good records. Now we have a record of what we drank and how we liked it, so we can look for the wines we like when shopping. I plan to use it as my personal wine journal.

For those committed to knowing about the wine they are drinking and not interested in relying on their memory of what wine(s) they have tasted, TastingMaster is just what you have been waiting for. Not only is this program suitable, with its myriad features, for friends tasting wine together but sommelier’s and wine stores alike would find TastingMaster invaluable in cataloging customers past likes and dislikes, utilizing this information in recommending wines for future consideration. For little more than the cost of a good Burgundy, you are left with much more at the end of the evening than an empty bottle. An excellent value for relatively little money!

I love this wine tasting software! It is easy to use, keeps great records, and accumulates reliable ratings. The program helps select wines, send invitations, rate wines, and create results to share with your guests. I really like the idea of creating a wine community (a commons) that can eventually create broad-based wine ratings based on lots of people tasting the wine. The more people tasting and rating wines, the more we can depend on ourselves for wine advice. TastingMaster for Wines is a great addition for everyone interested in discovering wines in the company of others.
